A lone man wanders the dusty roads, a heavy satchel weighing down his left shoulder. Whisps of smoke trail from the cigarette hanging from his lips. Little is known about him, save that he's a courier. Whether by choice or circumstance, he speaks not a word...

BASIC INFORMATION

▹ NAMELESS.
The man's name is unknown. Often he goes by monickers, such as Cook, Traveler, Stranger, and so on. If a nickname isn't assumed, he will most likely offer 'Courier' when his name is requested.

▹ AGE.
Birthdate unknown, appears to be in his late 20's.

▹ PERSONALITY.
Chill to the point of apathy, the man is not easily startled, and he doesn't seem quick to judge. However, he does not allow himself to be walked upon, and he would not hesitate to express his frustration or disapproval. Sometimes with his gun.

Gruff on the outside, but he has an curious, innocent side as well. He likes the little things in life, and he doesn't let social stigmas prevent him from enjoying harmless activities or items.

OCCUPATIONS / SKILLS

▹ COURIER / SMUGGLER.
He spends most of his time going from place to place, making deliveries across Eorzea. From love letters to illicit goods to even animals or people, he'll deliver almost anything to anywhere, so long as the price is right.

▹ COOK.
One of the man's favorite past times is honing the taste of his food over a campfire. A critical eye, combined with herbs and spices that he's procured during his travels, has taught him how to make some excellent food, usually of the savory variety.

▹ MUSICIAN.
While traveling, the wanderer can often be seen with a guitar on his back. This is usually reserved for passing the time in the evenings, but he has a growing passion for music that draws him toward performance venues and other musicians.

▹ MARKSMAN.
Never without the revolver at his hip, he's always ready for a fight, and he's a decent shot. These skills may be used not just for self-defense, but for bodyguarding and hunting as well. Sometimes, his aim is a little uncanny, but he just chalks it up to being lucky.

▹ SCOUT.
He has a keen eye and good instinct for surveying an area or assessing a situation. He knows how to handle himself and get out of trouble, and stealth comes naturally to him.

▹ DELIVERIES.
He's always looking for work. Have something that needs to be taken from one place to another? Does it need extra care? Does it need to stay under the radar? Just need a delivery guy? Hire him!

▹ DISCRETION.
Along with parcels, he can also deliver information. Whether that means infiltrating a location or tailing a notable figure, his discretion is somehow both a commonly known and yet underestimated skill.

▹ BODYGUARD.
His deliveries don't necessarily end with inanimate objects, either. Need to get somewhere safely? Pay him well, and the courier will do his best to ensure they reach their destination.

▹ WANDERER.
The road is his home. His campsites can be found nestled in almost any corner of Eorzea, and his work takes him to interesting places. Bumping into him in the wilds, an abandoned building, or in the nearby town/city is not only likely, but expected.

▹ COMMON LOCALES.
The Thanalans / Ul'dah, La Noscea, & Gyr Abania are where he is most commonly found, but his work may allow him to travel to all corners of the world.

One of his clients, a doctor living in the Mists. He delivers lunches from her to various places in the Thanalans, and has dropped off a parcel at her estate now and then. She pays well, and she has a bright personality that makes his job easier.

An energetic adventurer who has fallen into the courier's life now and again (sometimes literally). Curious and honorable, she picks the man's brain, whether she knows it or not. Though he hesitates to admit it, he enjoys sitting at the campfire and cooking for her.

$♪ 'MORNING'.
Another of his clients, though not specifically of the delivery kind. He knows little about the woman except that she has business in Gyr Abania, and she has hired him to be her eyes in places she cannot readily go. The work is dangerous, but she always pays enough to cover the risk.

♪ PENELOPE 'PENNY' WRIGHT.
A excitable monster researcher who can chat enough for both of them and then some. He wonders how she gets along for as long as she has, with how clumsy she is, and how Beans–her chocobo–sprints her straight into the unknown.

$♪ PROFESSOR GRAY.
A client and fellow music lover, but they've only met once. The courier would recall that he has a nice hat, but he was not so willing to part with payment.

▹ DISCLAIMER.
I'm not looking to attach myself to one particular person; I want a wide spectrum of players and personalities! While I consider myself a heavy RPer, work and personal projects (as well as doing PvE) keep me busy sometimes, so if you're looking for an RP partner with whom you can spend most of your time, I'm afraid I'm not for you. I'd still love to meet your character and develop a story, but possessiveness and jealousy are huge aversions for me.

Want to RP? All you have to do is ask, and I will try my best to make plans. Simple as that!

If you're uncomfortable, please tell me; I will do the same for you. There is little that can happen in an RP that will make me squeamish, so long as it is OOCly consensual among all parties involved. I prefer my RP to be a little gritty, and I ask that at least attempt is made to be lore-consistent, but otherwise I am open for almost all kinds of RP. (I am not open for ERP. Fading to black when applicable is fine.)

▹ ACCESSIBILITY.
Withdrawn is located on Balmung, but I'm more than willing to World-Visit. My timezone is US Eastern/GMT-5, and I'm often online after 8pm Monday-Friday, and weekends I'm available all day. I prefer ingame RP over Discord, since I am notorious for becoming distracted and letting scenes slip away from me.

▹ SCHEDULING.
Please don't be disheartened if we can't RP right away! I tend to schedule a week ahead just to make sure that I can stay on top of things and not overlook anyone. It's best to set up a day with me in advance instead of sending me a whisper/message and wanting to set up a scene immediately. Walk-ups are always fine if you see me with the RP tag up, but if you find me in the middle of nowhere, just send a quick whisper first. (I might be hosting a plot event!)
